Business Retention Liaison
Current business owners and prospective business owners in Arlington have a direct link to City Hall via the City's business retention liaison. The liaison serves as the key contact to help business owners through the permit and development processes.


Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County
Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County provides workforce improvement services that serve jobseekers and small, medium and large businesses. More specifically, they offer customized training, on -the-job training, incumbent worker training, and recruitment/staffing services. ACCION Texas
ACCION Texas is a state-wide non-profit organization dedicated to providing the essential tools needed to grow a small business; credit and training. ACCION is committed to the success of their clients and provide loans, as well as business training, referrals and networking opportunities. Service Corps of Retired Executives

Service Corps of Retired Executives provides free counseling services to the small business community, including assistance with business plan formulation. Arlington Center is Largest LEED Gold Core Project in Texas

The 1.16 Million SF Pioneer 360 Business Center in Arlington, Texas has been certified a LEED Gold Core & Shell industrial project. This is one of the first industrial projects in Texas to achieve this certification, and is the largest industrial project to do so. 


Steel container leases Arlington industrial space

Cleveland Steel Container Corp. leased 52,000 square feet of industrial space at 3221 E. Arkansas Lane in Arlington from Forum 303 Crossing LLC.


Kaplan College Opens in Arlington

Kaplan Higher Education has opened a new Kaplan College campus in Arlington. The school, located at 2241 South Watson Rd. in Arlington, will help serve the community’s needs for career-focused education and provide local employers with skilled graduates in high-demand fields.


Historic V gets new tenant

The Edward Jones brokerage office led by Peter Scott has leased office space in the Historic V, the former Vandergriff car dealership building.


City Announces New Texas Clinic at Arlington

The Arlington City Council unanimously approved a resolution that paves the way for the construction of a new $12 million medical office complex in south Arlington. Read more here.


UT Arlington Special Events Center Approved!

The UT Board of Regents approved plans to construct a 190,000 sq. ft. events center with seating capacity for 6,500 on the NE side of the campus. Construction of the $73 million project is expected to be completed in 2012.

Arlington and Fort Worth are among the Top 50 Best Cities for Doing Business, according to a national ranking released by Inc. Magazine and Newgeography.com.
